Scottish Events organised and coordinated a prolonged campaign to Save Scotland’s Regiments from amalgamation and merger throughout 2004 to 2006. Indeed the campaign still wages on albeit under the name of Reinstate our Army Regiments. Working alongside representatives from the six Scottish Regiments a multitude of campaigning took place.

Rallies were held in Dundee, Stirling, Edinburgh Liverpool and London and were attended by a huge amount of people both serving and ex serving.
Battle buses travelled the length and breadth of the UK.
A petition with over 255,000 signatures was delivered to Downing Street.
Websites were created and maintained to ensure online support.
Celebrity support was achieved for the campaign.
Liaison with politicians and meetings organised.

Scottish Events organised all of the campaigns meetings, petitions, rallies and support and throughout it all liased directly with the media holding frequent Press Conferences and releasing press releases to keep the public updated.

Sustained and hardened media coverage was obtained and support was worldwide.

Thanks to Scottish Events this campaign is highly regarded as a model campaign and will long be remembered not only in the UK but also throughout the world.
