In December 2007 Scottish Events along with their sister company Abseil Scotland hosted a charity abseil day for Combat Stress a charity who care for veterans with a wide range of mental health issues and the Black Watch Association at University Tower Dundee. 

The day began at 10am. As participants arrived they were piped into the building on arrival by our local piper Connor Sinclair. They then registered and were briefed on from the extremely professional and highly qualified abseil team who supported all participants on the day.

At noon Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond arrived to support the event though it must be added he did not abseil!! 

Over 50 participants abseiled on the day and a huge sum of money was raised for both worthy causes.

A crowd of over 200 supporters were there to cheer our abseilers on and a large media attendance was attracted from both local and UK sources.

We had the day recorded and photographed professionally so all participants had a lasting memory of their day.
